About business mentoring and support
This initiative is providing Solar Homes Program retailers and others with tailored one-on-one business mentoring and support delivered by Monarch Institute.
Working with an independent business mentor can help you identify the key priorities your business needs to grow and succeed in the solar industry, address gaps in skill and knowledge, and increase your confidence in running a successful and sustainable business.
Since 2019, these sessions have provided practical takeaways and tips to use across a diverse range of topics, including:
- marketing strategies, techniques and planning
- business divestment, financial analysis and managing cashflow
- capacity building and business resilience
- developing business plans and budgets
- business mindset, attitude and mental health
- human resource management, recruitment and managing change
- conflict resolution
- risk identification and management
- sales and business confidence
- business compliance
- product development
- entrepreneurship and Innovation
- leadership and emotional intelligence.
